Awards for Students

The Arts and Humanities Division of the Council on Undergraduate Research (CURAH) offers two awards for students,

  • The CURAH Student Scholarship Award supports undergraduate student research and creative inquiry projects at any stage of development up to and including presentation. The goal of this funding is to encourage diverse, innovative, and engaged UR in the disciplines defined by CUR as arts and humanities. The application may be accessed here.  Deadline is March 30, 2022.
  • The CURAH Trimmer Travel Award application for travel to presently work at conferences may be accessed here. Deadline is February 1, 2023The award amount is $1000 this year.

Awards for Faculty

Arts and Humanities Faculty Mentor Award

The Council on Undergraduate Research’s Arts and Humanities Faculty Mentor Award recognizes exemplary faculty mentors of undergraduate researchers in arts and humanities fields.

Awardees receive:

  • The honor of being recognized as a Arts and Humanities Faculty Mentor
  • A plaque and the opportunity to offer remarks at the award ceremony during the June business meeting.
  • $1000

This award is supported by the CUR Arts and Humanities Endowment.
